We have started beta-testing for a first set of web applications. These applications do not require local install and use the CPU time of our servers. The web application incapsulates the entire analysis module workflow with specifically designed user interface. Currently we provide 3D Nuclei Detection and Microtubule tracking applications.
Microtubule tracking
One of the latest analysis tools being incorporated into the BISQUE system is the Microtubule Tracker. Upon uploading their microtubule image sequence into the BISQUE system, the users can invoke the Microtubule Tracker and track individual microtubules. Based on a user-provided origin and the direction of the microtubule plus-end, the tracker traces the microtubule body in all subsequent frames. Estimated microtubule tracks are recorded in BISQUE as g-objects and can be exported to a variety of formats.
Automatic 3D Nuclei Detector
This application allows you to select local file or an image in the Bisque database and automatically identify nuclei centroid locations. These locations can be exported as text, excel file, XML or visualized overlayed on image. Simple statistics can be obtained from detected nuclei. Furthermore these locations can be used for posterior analysis such as nuclei outline segmentation or membrane segmentation.
